I am currently writing a book, and i go through phases. Sometimes I can write for weeks on end, sometimes I can't. And it's not like it's writers block exactly, because I know how my book is going to flow. It's just, i think i get tired, or weary of writing. Why is my baby eating so much?

Definitely the right decision, eventhough, I am not sure that they got enough for the pick. Rudy Gay, as highly touted as he is/ was, slipped(?) all the way to 8. Maybe you should first consider that, secondly, he seems to disappear an awful lot. Lastly, I'm not sure that Gay is going to be any better than Eddie Griffin was to the Rockets. Eventhough Shane Battier has the curse of Duke working against him by default, I think that he is a part of the newer breed of Dukies to hit the NBA, ie, Elton Brand, Cory Maggette, etc. Battier will fill a void on the Rockets, a real shooter and he can defend. This should pay big dividends for the Rockets if T Mac and Yao can stay relatively healthy. There may be a hidden bonus in this deal also---if Houston can talk Memphis into throwing in the point guard (Lowry), they'll really help themselves. Lowry is good, very good. Houston did the right thing in trading Gay.

Okay, so ever since me and my family and our cats moved in with my grandmother who's 67, she's been saying weird stuff to my cats. My ex husband has married a woman with three kids. The youngest is in the same grade as one of our daughters. They see each other on the playground at recess. The step daughter is not very well behaved and he has told me his self that she is the spawn of the devil. My problem is that the step daughter is telling my daughter stuff about her dad that isnt true. This last time is the worst, she told my daughter that her daddy got shot in the head and died. I have talked to him about this several times in a mature nice tone. his answer is they are just kids, but our kids are the same age and my daughter knows better and has been taught to do better and would never do something like this. I agree with you, the statement is false. Decreasing the means by which you can give your audience a complete picture of what it is that you have to say is not a good idea. It's like thinking that your audience is too stupid or intelectually limited to understand the paradox or any other figurative forms of language. I would say that the case in which you should not use too many paradoxes or allusions is when your speech is directed to children or other audiences, for whom it may be hard to comprehend the meaning of your words. On the other hand, if the speaker is persuasive enough to say the paradox the right way or explain it nicely - there should be no problem. Obviously, the person who thought of this statement thinks every audience is stupider than he himself (or she herself.)

Joe has no PhD. He is an Aboriginal Elder from Hay River (NWT) who grew up in the bush, learning from his elders and from an intimate life on the land. No powerpoint presentation or written script. Just his drum, his words from his heart, simple words full of poetry, the voice of the land, of water, of the animals, of the birds, of nature, how we must respect it so that it sustains us and future generations, not just physically but spiritually. All I learned in university doesn't mean anything. Today Joe's teaching made a difference in my life. I see clearly now. Joe reminded me why I am doing what I do. Thank you, Professor Tambour.

In the recent news there have been many headlines that a military general named Patreaus, will give a report to congress next week regarding the current condition and progress of war in Iraq. That is a clear conflict of interest because unretired military generals cannot speak against war since Bush is commander in chief. I seriously doubt credibility of such generals and the Bush administration regarding iraq because they are all for war. Good female Shakespeare monologue.?

I go a performing arts high school and every 2 years, our school does a Shakespeare play. This year is the two year mark, and we are doing Macbeth. 1997 Toyota Tacoma electrical problem....?

I just bought a 97 tacoma and after i drove it home i realized that neither the heater nor the cruise control were functioning. air blows from the vents but no heat, and the "cruise" light illuminates on the dash but it will not cruise. also i noticed that anytime the heater/ac fan is turned on, the ac on lights up, whether it is on or off. it is just the light, the ac works just fine along with the on. the truck has an aftermarket stereo installed and i cant help but wonder if all of this is tied into a poor wire splicing job behind the dash. any ideas on where i might find a wiring diagram online? or maybe this has happened to you and you could walk me through it? somebody out there, please help me, i live in washington and its too cold to be driving around without a heater... thanks

Help in dealing with a selfish boyfriend?

My boyfriend moved in with me about a month ago. Things were fine for the first couple weeks-- he helps me clean and goes to the grocery store and gets me things that I need-- I know..not so selfish there, but we recently got a puppy together. I treat the puppy so great-- he has the best toys and food, and I love him to death. However, when we were trying to crate train the puppy, I stayed out in the living room and my boyfriend was with me, the puppy started to squeal and my boyfriend went back to the bedroom without me and shut the door and went to sleep. I went back and flipped out on him for his lack of help. The next couple nights, I was getting little sleep because I was up with the puppy, while my boyfriend took a sleeping pill and dozed off for the night, and I was up all night. I yelled at him out of frustration, but I was happy that I had trained the puppy. Also, he does things like gets food for lunch for himself, like a pizza and eats it, and when I get home, he's like I got a pizza-- the rest is for you-- and there is only like one slice left. Like geez, thanks. I just don't know what to do-- I am sooo frustrated. I love him so much and we have been through a lot, but I just want him to stop being so selfish. I mean if the whole puppy indicator is how it's going to be down the road when we have kids, I am just going to fall over.

You have no voltage anywhere beyond the main breaker? When you turn the main breaker on it doesn't immediately trip? If it is tripping turn off all the breakers in the box then turn the main back on. You should have 115-120V on your bus bars. If you have no voltage on your bus bars to neutral then you probably have a bad connection on your neutral either in your breaker box or in your meter box. If you aren't sure how to check this time to call in an electrician.
