What will help me get my period after the depo shot?

I haven't been on the shot since December and now i'm ttc i got my period on march really heavy and it hurt like never before and it was bad blood clotts and everything.. ewww... but getting to the point after that i haven't got my period is it normal or what can i do to get my period?????? please help.
