All you're giving is a verse number / the book and chapter are needed. To answer your question / John 1:41 "He first found his own brother Simon and said to him. "We have found the Messiah" (which is translated, the Christ). Back up to verse 29 "The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said "Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world."
