Can people look up your party affiliation?

When McCain picked Sarah Palin for VP I remember the news went to Alaska & interviewed people. They were so afraid of saying what she would do to people. They voted for her as the most well liked Governor out of fear. So how would she know what they voted? People who voted against her lost jobs, had dogs poisoned. Many of these brave people were on tv telling about her. I guess they thought that they were gone for good. So if you are afraid then don't do anything. They were afraid for their children so I imagine you gave your state cause people know the states in the south have the worst politicians. I wouldn't know but I have a neighbor who moved to Mississippi & said it was unbelievable how crooked they all are.
