Help in dealing with a selfish boyfriend?

My boyfriend moved in with me about a month ago. Things were fine for the first couple weeks-- he helps me clean and goes to the grocery store and gets me things that I need-- I know..not so selfish there, but we recently got a puppy together. I treat the puppy so great-- he has the best toys and food, and I love him to death. However, when we were trying to crate train the puppy, I stayed out in the living room and my boyfriend was with me, the puppy started to squeal and my boyfriend went back to the bedroom without me and shut the door and went to sleep. I went back and flipped out on him for his lack of help. The next couple nights, I was getting little sleep because I was up with the puppy, while my boyfriend took a sleeping pill and dozed off for the night, and I was up all night. I yelled at him out of frustration, but I was happy that I had trained the puppy. Also, he does things like gets food for lunch for himself, like a pizza and eats it, and when I get home, he's like I got a pizza-- the rest is for you-- and there is only like one slice left. Like geez, thanks. I just don't know what to do-- I am sooo frustrated. I love him so much and we have been through a lot, but I just want him to stop being so selfish. I mean if the whole puppy indicator is how it's going to be down the road when we have kids, I am just going to fall over.
