using Ortho Tri Cyclen after last active pill, before period?

I take Ortho Tri Cyclen birth control pills, and was wondering how "safe" it is to have unprotected the few days after I take my last active pill before my period starts (which always starts the 4th day of not taking active pills - If I took the last active pill on Saturday, Aunt Flo pays a visit on Wednesday).
